GarryHOLMESIt is with great sadness we annouce the passing of Garry Holmes.

A much loved partner to Shirley, devoted dad to Sean, Faye and Jack and a cherished gangang to Becky and Harvey.

He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Funeral service to be held at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent on Friday 21st August 2026 at 3.30pm.
Please wear clothes you are comfortable in.

Family flowers only please.
Donations if desired are invited for The Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at the Royal Derby Hospital.
These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or given at the service.

I’m so sorry to learn of your passing. I’ll miss the random calls to ask about something car related and I loved the time you worked for me at Fiat. My best memory of you Gaz was when you managed to get Ted McMinn to give a mention to my son on Radio Derby which he wasn’t supposed to do. Rest up my mate, you will be forever missed. We had the pleasure of working with Garry for many years. He was well known throughout our office as Gazza and was always willing to take on any order we sent his way,
 
He will be sorely missed by everyone within the florist network.
 
Our deepest condolences go to all of his family and to his partner, Shirley.
 
We hope this donation helps to support the Coronary Care Unit that cared for him.
