Michael WalterGRAVESIt is with great sadness that the family of Mike announce his sudden but peaceful passing on Tuesday 28th July 2026, aged 90 years, whilst in the excellent care of Keb House Residential Home, Appleby.

Beloved husband of the late Mary, loving dad to Andy and the late Jane, treasured grandad to Alexandra and Nicola, devoted great grandad to Delilah and Charlie, much-loved father-in-law to John and Carol, dear brother of the late Jeoffrey, a cherished brother-in-law and uncle and a good friend to many. Mike will be sorely missed but remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.

A service to celebrate Mike's life will take place at St. Mary's Church, Broughton on Monday 24th August at 1.00pm, prior to interment at Broughton Cemetery.

Family flowers only please by request, donations in lieu, if so desired in memory of Mike would be greatly received for Alzheimer's Research UK. These can be left following the service or sent directly to the charity: www.alzheimersresearchuk.org
