Loving husband to Rita, devoted father to daughters Victoria and Vania, beloved grandfather to Alexandra and Sebastian, father-in-law to Robert, brother to Paul and Anne, brother-in-law to Vivienne and Robin, beloved uncle to Carl, Simon, Caroline, Vicky-Anne, Charlotte and Georgina. Loyal and inspirational confidant to all extended family and friends.
Thank you to all Doctors, nurses, paramedics and staff at HRI A&E, ward 8 and ward 20 for the excellent care Richard received. To Rawthorpe High School Staff, past students and pupils for their kind words and condolences for Richard at this sad time.

Requiem Mass will be held at St Joseph's RC Church Somerset Road, Huddersfield on Monday 30th March 2026 at 11.45am, with Father John Carlisle. Private committal at Huddersfield Crematorium Fixby.
