Elaine EdithFARMERYIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elaine, on the 19th of August 2026, aged 84 years, peacefully, with Anne and Rob by her side.

Beloved wife of the late Rodney, mum of Anne and Jane, mother-in-law of Rob and Steve, nana of Isobel, Sophie and Matthew, sister, aunt, and good friend to many.

Would family and friends please meet for a service to celebrate Elaine's life at Woodlands Crematorium, Scunthorpe, on Friday the 11th of September 2026 at 12 noon. No formal dress code.

Family flowers only please but donations would be gratefully accepted for "Dementia UK" and "Cancer Research UK" c/o

I was so sorry to learn of Elaine’s death .She and I worked together for years at Martin and Haigh solicitors and these were the happiest of times.Elaine could be fierce and brooked no nonsense but was one of the kindest people I have met .
