You came into my life as a student looking to learn shorthand (my best pupil ever) and left a very dear, trusted and much loved friend. You really were a “one-off” Joan and I feel privileged to have shared part of your life, not to mention the great times “The Shorthand Ladies” group shared over the years. You will be missed so, so much. RIP … Maggie Kendall.

From the first time we met at shorthand through the years you were a true friend, sharing the love, laughter and heartache. The awesome trip to New Zealand and infamous Kiwis ‘rich friend’ we took part with.
You were loved and will be truly missed. Heaven truly has an angel I am sure you will keep them all in line and laughing up there .
