Peacefully at Wardley Gate Care Home on 27th January 2026, aged 93 years. Joe, dearly beloved husband of the late Ol, a treasured dad of Gary and Mark, loving father-in-law of Kim and Sharron, much loved grandad of Joe & Becki, Megan & Aaron, and Georgia & Dom, also a much loved great-grandad of Jonah, Leo and Mara. Joe was much loved by all family and friends.

Service and cremation at Saltwell Crematorium on Friday 13th February at 1.45pm. Friends please meet at Crematorium.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to The Alzheimer's Society, a donation may be made at the service. Afterwards everyone welcome at Heworth Golf Club.

How are we to survive this loss. He was the funniest man I know and always made our wonderful trips up North so joyful. His made up lyrics to songs and his wit will always be with me.
