AlanDAVIESPassed away peacefully at home on Thursday 27th October 2025. Aged 93 years.

Alan passed away quietly at home after a period of illness, which he bore with typical stoic dignity. He touched the hearts of all those who knew him and will be greatly missed by his family and all who loved him. He was well liked and respected by his teacher colleagues and students alike. His kindness and generosity of spirit will never be forgotten. Beloved husband of Margrit Davies, cherished father of Sian and Lynn, and grandfather of Maddie and Lara.

Funeral service on Thursday 27th November 2025 at St. Michael's and All Angels Church, Manselton, at 1:30pm, followed by a private cremation.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Wales Air Ambulance, c/o D.G. Attwell Funeral Directors, 95 Eaton Road, Brynhyfryd, Swansea, SA5 9JH Tel: (01792) 650205

It was a pleasure taking you most Sundays to the Golf Club for lunch with your lovely Maggie. One of my most favourite customers!

So sad to say goodbye to our very special friend Alan Davies. A friendship of more than 80 years. A loyal friend and a true gentleman.
We send our love to Maggie Sian Lyn Maddie and Lara.
