My earliest memories of Roy was when he was dating my cousin Carol. I remember being a bridesmaid at their wedding along with Kevin my cousin who acted as their page boy.
It was great fun being driven around by Roy to places like Sully plastics to watch him play cricket along with Carol, then heading back home with music playing on an 8-track cassette player.
In later years at Christmas time, we all gathered in either my mums house or Carols to have food and drink and play bingo when Roy always played the bingo caller.
One of Roys passions was riding and showing motorbikes of which he had a number of British classic bikes. My husband also shared this passion and when they met up, they would often talk about his bikes and more modern bikes.
I remember Roy fondly, Rest in peace.

To my husband, my life will never be the same without you. Thank you for all the wonderful years we spent together. I will leave you something in your pocket so you can always buy a drink. Until we meet again. I love you with all my heart your wife Carol xx
