My angel Mabe,

We were all so lucky to have you for as long as we did, and yet forever wouldn’t have felt like long enough.

I will spend every day of my life with you in my heart, just as you held my Daddy in yours. I’m broken-hearted, but if there’s any comfort, it’s in knowing you’re back with my dad - our lovely angel - and our amazing Tom.

Loving yet fierce, I will always look up to you and the woman you’ve been. I’ll look forward to the day I get to see you again.

Ad Astra, my Mabe - to the stars - and I’ll watch you shine as brightly as you did for your loving family when you were here.

I am so proud to be your granddaughter, and I love you so much.

So sad to hear of Mabel’s passing and I know how dearly she will be missed by all. A truly lovely lady who always made me feel welcomed.

With each day that passes, the reality of losing you feels more real, and I miss you more than words can say. Thank you for loving me so fiercely - like you did each and every one of us - despite the grief you bore. You were the ultimate role model. I will think of you every day until I’m with you, my dad and our Michael again.

One whole week without you, Mabe. I’m heartbroken and miss you so much. I’m holding on to all our memories, and I know how truly blessed I’ve been to have you in my life for over 49 years.
