JohnCOLESSuddenly on Wednesday February 18th, 2026, at his home, John, of Milo, Llandybie.

Beloved husband of Sue, devoted father of Penny, Richard and the late Alex, respected father-in-law of Stephen, Angela and Simon, loving cici of Osian, Harri, Tirion, Joe, Meg, Ella, Ewan, Heather and Thomas.

Funeral Friday March 20th 2026 private family cremation followed by a public memorial service at Ty Horeb Chapel at the Cawdor Hotel Llandeilo at 12.30p.m.

Family flowers only, donations in memory of John if so desired to Prostrate Cymru, kindly received by

Dad was the role model I always tried to live up to. But by every measure I feel I have failed. He was incredibly well read, a fantastic communicator, a sportsman and an athlete, an accomplished and astute businessman. He had a massive circle of friends. He was fun, a rebel and could be a bit of a trouble maker (in a fun way). He was incredibly generous to everyone.
He was a loyal and loving husband and all I could want as a loving father. He will leave a giant hole in my life. Wherever he is now, let's hope he has a good library, Sky Sports and plenty of good red wine.
Rest in peace dad, all my love, Rich. Xxx
