SylviaCOBBYSylvia passed away in hospital on 8th January 2026, aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter. Mother of David and Colin. Cherished grandmother, great-grandmother, and a true friend to many.
Sylvia will be fondly remembered through her lifelong dedicated service to the Girls' Brigade, London City Mission, and Billingham Baptist Church.
A funeral service will take place on Monday 23rd February 2026 at 10:30am at Billingham Baptist Church, prior to committal at Stockton Crematorium's Bluebell Chapel.
Will family and friends please meet at Church. Family flowers only please by request. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Dementia UK. A collection box will be available at the service.
Sylvia has requested for mourners not to wear black.
