Robert AndrewCARPENTERWe announce with great sadness that Mr Robert Andrew Carpenter (Bobby) peacefully passed away after a brave and dignified battle with cancer on Tuesday 24th February 2026.

Beloved husband to Julie, father to James and Sophia and dear father-in-law to Chris and stepdaughter Sophie. Devoted grandad to Darcey and Teddy.

Bobby was a true gentleman who will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him.

Bobby's funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Friday 27th March at 13:30pm.

Following the service the family warmly invite you to raise a glass and share more memories of Bobby at The Honeycomb, Ladybank Road, Mickleover, Derby, DE3 0NR.

Family flowers only.

Donations made in lieu in memory of Bobby can be sent to MacMillan Cancer Support.
