William SydneyBROOKSEmeritus Professor of French. Died on 4th December 2025 at the Royal United Hospital, Bath aged 78. Beloved husband of Margaret, loving father of Tim and Victoria, dear father-in-law to Anna and Adam, and devoted Grandad to William and Robin. Funeral service to be held at the Valley Chapel, Haycombe Crematorium, on Friday 9th January 2026 at 10am. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for Age UK may be donated online or left in the donation box as you leave the service. All enquires to G F Hunt Funeral Director, 41 Livingstone Road, Bath, BA2 3PH
