It is with great saddness that I hear of the death of Maureen. She was a dedicated, committed Member of The NUT--[National Union of Teachers--- [as it was pre- NEU ] . A highly respected officer of the Union locally, working for the benefit of all teachers-- alongside colleages such as the late John White [Leighton Park], & my late husband,John Williams -at Wistaston Berkeley. Maureen was a comitted , devoted member of the Union. She never missed a meeting or any Annual Conference. She was highly respected for her work for the NUT. My profound sympathy I extend to Malcolm & to their sons.
I also extend here --on behalf of all teacher colleagues of Maureen--- our great sympathy & our great respect, & express on my & their behalf our sincerest condolences.

I worked with Maureen at Leighton Park Nursery. She was such a kind, loving lady and a great person to work with. We enjoyed lots of fun times together. The children loved her.
God bless you Maureen.

So sorry to hear this. Saw Maureen on a Monday evening playing her weekly game of Mahjong. Thoughts with the family of a lovely lady.
