For me the photo in the main tribute perfectly displays Frank's inviting smile and welcoming nature. His smile was accompanied by a rich soothing and calming voice that I can hear so clearly now as I write this tribute.
Sadly I only met Frank on no more than half-a-dozen occasions. Margaret his much loved and dearly missed wife was my cousin, daughter of my Father's younger sister Gladys Buckingham (Nee Webb). I have mainly lived in the South of England but on the few occasions, especially in more recent years, that I met with Frank and Wendy, Stephanie, Kerry and Lindsey (Not always at once) I hold happy memories of a loving and welcoming family.
Every year at Christmas, Frank's card was always the first to arrive. I will miss that card as I will miss his gentle, good humoured and generous nature.
