Phyllis MaryBOWDENPhyllis passed away peacefully on Monday 12th June, at the age of 96. Former nurse in Scunthorpe, she had been living happily in the care of Alexandra Court Residential Home, close to her family in Leeds. Beloved wife to the late Harry Bowden, sister to the late Kenneth Hales and mother to the late Sue Parkin (nee Susan Clark). Much loved Grandmother of Hannah and mother-in-law of Gerry. She will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at Rawdon Crematorium in Leeds at 11.30am on Monday 3rd July to celebrate the life of Phyllis and her daughter Sue, who passed away peacefully on 19th May. Funeral refreshments will be at The Myrtle Tavern, Meanwood, Leeds thereafter. Donations in lieu of flowers for Phyllis and Sue may be made to Macmillan Cancer Support.
