RonPURVIS(Kingston Park) passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday 15th November 2025 aged 79 years.

A devoted husband to Kathleen, dearly loved Dad to Debra and Marc, father in law to Dean and Bernice and an adored Granda to Kurtis, Lauryn, Jake and Olivia.

Please meet for service at the West Road Crematorium on Friday 5th December at 1:15pm.

Family flowers only please, donations can be made in lieu at the service in aid of The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and St Oswald's Hospice.

Friends like you are the family we are gifted by choice. And by God we made a good decision. You gave me cuddles just when…, without me even having to ask, you brought us strength when it was needed and support when required. But it was your love and forgiveness that I will never forget. You never insulted us and you loved our Lynsey as though she was one of your own. For that, Ronnie, I will be forever grateful. Hope you’re at peace now. Lots of love, Joey xxx

Ron was such a lovely man and a friend to everyone. I have so many special memories of you that will stay with me forever. For so many years you and Kathy were always there for me and my children during some very trying times and I will always remember that. You will always have a special place in my heart and will be sorely missed by everyone.
Fly high with the Angels, He always takes the best.
