Peacefully in hospital on 26th November, aged 101 years.

Dearly loved wife of the late William and the late Alexander, loving mum of Gillian and the late Sonia, dear mother-in-law of Austin and John, an adored grandma and great grandma.

Friends, please meet for service at Tynemouth Crematorium on Monday 15th December at 10.30am.

All welcome to Tynemouth Golf Club for refreshments afterwards.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be sent to Cancer Research UK. A donation box will be available at the service.

We first met Mary at Aimée and Jon’s wedding in April 2025. Just a few years short of her 100th birthday she was busy circulating the reception tidying up and talking to everybody. Such a lovely and remarkable woman.
