Passed away peacefully in hospital on 25th March, aged 90 years.

Bill, beloved husband of Dora for 64 years. A loving dad of Susan and Margaret and father-in-law of Andy and Barry. Also a treasured granda of Michael and Andrew. Brother of the late Jimmy Walton.

Bill was well known for being the former landlord of the Ship Inn, Benton. He will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends.

Family and friends please meet for service at West Road Crematorium on Thursday 17th April at 12:30pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to The Newcastle Haemophilia Centre Fund, www.justgiving.com/newcastle-haemophilia-centre. A collection plate will be available at the Crematorium.

At the family's request, no black formal wear required. A splash of colour welcome.

Deeply saddened to hear of Bill's passing my thoughts are with Dora and family. Bill was a true gentleman. Many great memories of happy times in "The Ship" RIP
