The obituary notice of Dorothy WEST (Dot)

Dot was my honorary Grandma. I lived next door to her for nearly 20 years before I moved out. As a child I used to go round and help her do her gardening. She called me a dandelion queen. I remember my sister and I were impressed (as kids are) that she grew some potatoes at the far end of her garden. Dot was always proud of her garden. She would spend a lot of time in her garden. Dot died a fantastic age of 101. There is exactly 60 years and 2 days between my birthday and Dots. I will always have a lot of memories of Dot. We could always hear her playing her organ through the wall. It always made us smile.
