Veronica RonaYARDLEYYARDLEY Veronica 'Rona' Formerly of Dawson Street, Smethwick and latterly Marshall Road, Oldbury. Rona, widow of Edward (Ted) Yardley, died peacefully at Dingle Meadow Care Centre, Oldbury on Monday 27th December 2010. The Funeral will take place on Monday 17th January at St Hilda's Church, Warley Woods, Abbey Road, Smethwick, B67 5NQ, commencing at 11.30 a.m. followed by burial at Thimblemill Cemetery, Thimblemill Road, Smethwick at approximately 12.15 p.m. Refreshments will follow at The Wernley Public House, Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury. Rona will be sadly missed by all who knew her, particularly sons Alan and Danny, daughters Shirley and Gillian, daughter-in-law Nicky, sons-in-law Ray and David and grandchildren Helen, Tommy and Ryan. Flowers are welcomed but if preferred donations to The Alzheimer's Society will be much appreciated.
