GeorgeWISHARTIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of George Wishart, aged 88, who peacefully departed this life on 25th September 2025 at Chesford Grange Care Home.

George was a devoted husband to Florence, whose love and companionship were the cornerstone of his life. He was a cherished father to Lesley, Kevin, and Gary, a proud and loving grandad to Jack, Kelsey, Kayleigh, James, and Ricky, and a treasured great-grandad to Freya and Eliza.

George will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. His warmth, wisdom, and gentle humour touched the lives of many, and his legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate George's life will be held on Thursday, 16th October 2025 at 2pm at Carmountside Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, may be made to Alzheimer's Society in George's memory.

Forever loved, never forgotten.

In Memory of our great friend 'Geordie' who has been a member of Chesterton Crusaders and Stoke City Walking Football groups for many years. His comradeship, humour, and friendship will be dearly missed. Never a bad word said, and always there to share stories about his life. We will be there in strength to celebrate George's life - deeply missed and fondly remembered. Our condolences go out to Flo and George's family at this sad time. See you all on Thursday.
