Karen and I grew up in Newhall together. Our brothers also hung around together. Karen and I both ended up living in Ashby so I would always be bumping into her for a chat along with her mum. Once I was in Bendorm trying on some clothes in a shop changing room. I was talking to my daughter and somebody shouted I know that voice. Turns out Karen was also in the changing rooms next to me. What a coincidence that was.
Karen will be sadly missed by many. Sleep tight.
