You were the light that shone in the life of everyone who knew you. A loving, caring, kind, generous man who only wanted the best for those around you. Larger than life character who lit up any room.
I have been so lucky to have loved you for 42 years we have spent together. You were always there for me in happy and sad times with your cheeky smile, clever wit, unquestioning love for me. Never questioning my egocentricities. You have made me so happy.
My heart is broken without you in my life my darling husband.
You will live on in our son and 3 beautiful little grandsons. Of whom you were so proud.
The kindness of our family and friends has been overwhelming.
I can’t imagine a future without you in it. I hope that in time I can wake up and there is a glimmer of light. Please help me through the years I have ahead of me. Please come to me when I close my eyes, when the sun starts to shine again.There is no leaving when a soul is blended with another. I will look for you in those moments. I can’t say goodbye to you. I hope you are waiting for the day when we can be together again. Hold my hand tight till then.
Death has parted us for now.
