Who always listened, always cared, always had the right words and supported both of us through life threatening illnesses.
R.I.P Chris, you made a difference.

You were truly my "big sister" when we were young and later in life my very best friend.
You always had my best interests at heart and whatever the circumstances could be relied upon for the soundest of advice.
So easy to talk to, I will cherish for the rest of my life our "have you got a minute" telephone calls, when the minute somehow stretched to an hour or even two.
You constantly thought of others before yourself and were brave to the end.
Chris, a huge part of me goes with you.
Forever, your loving sister,
Ellen

My Sister Christine was a caring protector of me when I was little.
For example, before I could read I received letters from the fairies-guess who they where really from? Chris defended me at school when I was called names like Iron Legs and cripple due to my having had Polio and being half Greek. In Winter when the pavements were icy Chris would cross the road from H and R Johnstons to where I worked, so I could link arms and hopefully prevent me from falling.Always a caring thoughtfull protective influence in my life.I will miss her greatly, love Irene
