I'm really so shocked and very sad to hear this news about Julie's passing. I knew Julie in school and remember her as Julie Gem, she was really lovely to know there. It's really tragic that she's no longer with us.
God bless you Julie and RIP.

Julie was the best HCSW that ran theatre reception with such passion and dedication. She was able to coordinate the flow of patients and support all the patients and staff through their theatre journey. She was such a kind and generous friend who made sure everyone in the theatre team had a birthday card and was famous for her sweetie and snack drawer that we all paid a £1 a month for but i know Julie put her own money towards the great variety of sweets and snacks that were on offer. Julie was simply the kindest and warmest person who would always create a special atmosphere when she was around. Throughout the years of working with Julie we became great friends and she was a friend I could always rely on and her loyalty as a friend was special and unquestionable. Throughout her long journey of ill health she always stayed cheerful and positive and never moaned. She was a lovely friend and I will miss her very much. RIP Jules ❤️

So sad to hear of Julie’s passing….so many lovely memories working together. She organised everyone so well and kept us all in check. Her sweetie drawer was always in great demand, so kind and thoughtful. Our mutual love of dogs was forever a talking point. Condolences to Mike, rest in peace Julie 💞
