I first met Doreen over 2 years ago on my first day at a salon in Bucknall. I then saw her every week thereafter. She was so quick witted, funny, cheeky and I loved that she'd drive herself down to the salon in her little car.
After her fall, she was still resilient and found a way to come to her appointments.
I'm devastated to hear she passed just weeks after I left the salon and never got to say goodbye or hold the door open for her and say "see you next week Dor" one last time.
She really was a special lady and I'll miss her tremendously.
