Ronald FrancisTHOMASThe family of Ron Thomas wish to thank family, friends, neighbours, Tea Dance members and parishioners of Saint Lleurwg's Church for all their prayers, words of comfort and flowers received during his recent illness and subsequent death. They would also like to thank everyone who attended his funeral and gave money in lieu of flowers. Their gratitude is extended to The Cynon Valley Scouts Leaders and The Royal British Legion, Hirwaun, for their attendance and support at the Funeral. Special thanks to Father Bernard Jones who provided prayers and comfort to Ron and his family and for conducting the funeral service with love and compassion. Thanks also to Mrs Delia Powell for presiding over the interment of Ron's ashes. Grateful thanks are extended to Professor Haray, Mr Joseph and the anaesthetic and nursing staff at Prince Charles Hospital Intensive Care Unit for the care and professionalism they showed to Ron and his family. Finally thanks to Richards Funeral Services for their compassionate attention in this matter. When Ron died a light went out in his family's lives, but it is comforting to know that he was loved and respected by so many in the community.
