MarySWEENEY12.06.1931 - 10.04.2022 Funeral at St Teresa's Church at 10.30am on Tuesday 3rd May. Committal at Anfield Crematorium at 11.20am. Wake at Arkles Pub, Arkles Lane, Anfield at 12noon. Donations in lieu of flowers would be greatly appreciated to Alder Hey - a charity very close to Mary's heart. --------------- RIP Mum & Nan, we will love and miss you forever and you will always be in our hearts. Nan 💖 you wasn't just my nan you was my teacher, my nurse, my councillor & my world. I can't get my head around that you are gone, my heart is shattered but I know you are out of pain now & hopefully dancing up there & my baby girl is looking after her great Nan, forever in my heart & thoughts thanks for being the most amazing Nan to me & my kids x goodnight Nan till we meet again 💔

Anyone who was around you for longer than a few minutes would have known exactly how many grandchildren you had, and how many great grandchildren you had… and how much you couldn’t afford any more of us haha. You spoke of us with love and with pride… and that’s how we speak of you. I couldn’t be more grateful or feel any luckier that you’re my Nan. The memories you have given me will never fade, days out when I was a kid, you putting that “posh phone voice” on. Your singing, dancing, laughing… you saying what was on your mind no mater what. I still can’t believe I will never see your beautiful face again or hear your voice but I am happy that you’re out of pain and at peace up there with the people you’ve loved and lost, and no doubt causing a bit of mayhem getting everyone playing bingo and doing a jive haha. You might not be here on earth with us no more Nan but you will forever be in our hearts and minds and I know you are watching over us all. I love you so much always and forever Nan.
