Dr JohnSPINCERPassed away at home on the 1st October 2024 surrounded by his loving family. A loving husband to Karen, a much loved dad to Mark, Fiona, Sarah, Rebecca and Joseph and a much loved grandad to his 10 grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends and the Derby community for who he served as a GP for 43 years.

Funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium on the 15th October at 2.30pm.

John was my neighbour and childhood friend. We did a lot together - and we both attended Taunton's school. Which was a great help to me as I was a newcomer to Southampton. I remember endless games of monopoly and German whist, Sunday walks in the New Forest. He was best man at my wedding in 1971 and I at his. After my PhD at Keele I moved to Canada where I remain. We lost touch. I am so sorry to learn of his death - He was a good man. David Grattan

So sorry to hear this sad news. He was our family Dr for many years, even when I moved away my parents still saw him. He was so lovely and caring man. Thoughts are with all the family. R I P.

Such sad news. Not only were you my boss but my friend we spent many a shift putting the world to rights, laughing and joking. I really enjoyed working with you.
