FredaSMITHWith heavy hearts, the family announce, Freda aged 101 years of Newcastle, formerly of Cobridge, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 10th May 2025 surrounded by love.
Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon, dearly loved sister, aunty and great aunty. Much loved by Ruth, Jodie, Hayley, Thomas, Michelle and Jonny, a much loved " Granny Freda" to Orla, Joe and Freya and a dear friend and neighbour to many.
This is not goodbye Freda, it's we will see you later. You may be gone from our sight but you will live in our hearts.
Service and cremation to take place on Tuesday 3rd June at Bradwell Crematorium at 2.00pm. Will family please accept this intimation, friends kindly meet at the Crematorium.
Family flowers only. Donations if desired in memory of Freda to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice.
Please feel free to wear bright colours at the funeral at Freda's request.
