SelinaSMART(Dinnington) Formerly of Ashington. Peacefully in Freeman Hospital with family by her side on 12th June 2023 aged 97 years. Beloved wife of the late Bill. Much loved mam of Christine, Bryn, Allison, Kerrie and the late Suzanne. A loving grandma and great grandma to all her granchildren. Please meet for funeral service at Saint Matthew Church, Dinnington on Thursday 29th June at 1:30pm followed by burial in the church yard. Family flowers only by request. Donations in lieu if desired to Saint Matthews Church. All welcome at Dinnington Social Club for refreshments.

Yesterday’s funeral was a perfectly fitting send off for Lena with some very heartwarming sentiments. Lena was the best sort of mother-in-law and made Dinnington a very happy place to visit.
