Skelmanthorpe Historical Society can't put into words the contribution Stanley made to our group. His knowledge of everything local was second to none. His enthusiasm when giving talks kept everyone engrossed. But it was his calm, polite personality that stood out and encouraged us to continue his passion of local history.
