A tragic untimely loss of a fine man with many special qualities. My GP for many years plus my children’s. He was always ready to help, chat and had a fabulous bedside manner. Saved many peoples lives and enhanced many others. Good at everything he touched on, he will be missed by many. RIP Jeremy

Jeremy was one on a kind, and looked after my Mother and Father as if they were his own. Living in America, I would return to Ponteland a couple of times a year and spent most of my time with Jeremy in the Diamond or at a country pub over a 4 hour plus lunch. The conversation went from medical issues to his love of horses, literature, music and all things sport. His medical knowledge was unsurpassed, and simply stated he was one of my favorite people in the world. I feel that I have lost a precious member of my family, and a dear friend. God bless you Jeremy, and thank you for all you did for so many. With love and respect - David V Smith - Los Angeles
