Dad, I’ve known you for the past 53 years. That's over half a century. Although I was granny reared to the age of 8, we didn’t really see eye to eye. By the age of 18, I would drive off. Things got much better, when I left home at 21.

Now, I wish I could turn back time, with knowledge and wisdom that I have gained. The help and support you gave me and then my immediate family.

If I could be half the man you were, I would be happy. I’m proud to call you Dad and hope you were proud of me and the man I have become.

Love you Dad and miss you so much.

Brian was more than just a family member; he was a guiding light, a source of strength, and a wellspring of wisdom. His stories, laughter, and unwavering love shaped our lives in countless ways. Though he may be gone, his spirit will live on in our memories and the values he instilled in us. Rest in peace, Grandad. You will be deeply missed.
