Derek FrankSAMSONDerek lost his courageously fought battle against MND on Tuesday 15th July 2025 at the Old Lodge Nursing Home in Etwall.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and son, Bonita and Matthew, his brothers, David, Paul, Barry, Mark and their families, mother-in-law Jean, sister-in-law Julia and all of his friends.

As a Driving Instructor in Derby he helped many to pass their tests in Littleover and Mickleover in the last 11 years.

His funeral will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Saturday 2nd August at 12.30pm, followed by a Celebration of his Life at the Breadsall Priory Pavilion. Family and friends are welcome to join us. Blue funeral attire preferred; Chelsea FC shirts/accessories may also be worn.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu for the Motor Neurone Disease and the Old Lodge Nursing Home may be given on the day or sent to A.W. Lymn
