Before The Darkness Falls
Before the darkness falls
Before the memory fades
Before the body weakens
Before the soul is lost
Before you are forgotten
Sing dance and play
Walk, run and skip
Taste all and more
Walk your special trails
Listen to the living sounds
Before the darkness falls
Sit quietly by your favourite stream
Watch the clouds scudding across a summer sky
Be drenched in a warm summer rain
Before the darkness falls
Watch a trillion stars light up the black night sky
Taste the fragrance of a summer garden warm evening
Still your mind breathe in the living air
Dance with your love under the brilliant silver moon
To that special to you both lovers tune
Tell all you love of that love.
