GeorgeROSSMILLERPeacefully on 13th May 2022 with his wife Molly by his side, Ed passed away aged 86 years. Husband to Molly, father to David and Diane, stepfather to Andrew and Eluned. Grandpa and grandad to each of his grandchildren. Ed had a distinguished career as an American Agricultural Economist, gaining his BSc in 1956, his MSc in 1962 from Montana State University and gained his doctorate at Michigan State University where his cutting edge research eventually led to policy that was adopted by governments and leaders on most every continent. Influencing international agricultural policy through various institutions. His retirement gave him and Molly the opportunity to travel for fun, moving back to Montana for eight years where together they worked with the students of Two Eagle River School on the Flathead Reservation. Travelling to China, India, snowbirding from Montana to Tucson, travelling in their 5th wheel caravan and eventually moving to Spain, before retiring in Tiverton. Ed Rossmiller was an extraordinary man, his distinguished career spanned the continents. He was always driven by a desire to help make the world a better place. He will be greatly missed. Funeral service at The Exeter and Devon Crematorium on Wednesday 8th June at 1pm, St Paul's Chapel. For those who can't attend, a live webcast will be provided.
