Gertrude MaryRISPINDied peacefully on 5th December 2022, of great old age, aged 106 (and a half) years. Beloved Mother of Sue, Grandmother of Andrew and Michael, Great Grandmother of Harry, Ted, Rebecca, Jacob and David. She will be reconciled with her late husband Edwin and reunited with her dear son-in-law John. Funeral Service to be held at Beverley Minster on Wednesday 4th January, 2023 at 12 noon. I first met Gertie when her daughter Susan and I went to college in Bradford in 1963. She was a lovely lady and a wonderful mother to Susan.
Over the years I have had troubled times in my life when she always supported me and gave such good advice. She was a very wise and much loved lady who will be missed by me, her family and so many others.

I remember Mrs Rispin from my girl guide days if I am correct she was Brown Owl for the Beverley Minster Girl Guides which I attended in the 1970’s. A lovely lady who I have never forgotten and very wise. Sympathy to all her family but what an amazing age she reached!
