The obituary notice of Lillie Lisbeth (Lee) RANSTED

Fond memories from my younger years of parties with my friends Jon and Lizzie at their home in Eckington. Their lovely mum Lillie was always on hand to watch over proceedings (and join in where possible), keeping us all in order and taking an interest in all of our lives and pursuits. The time between then and now has just passed so quickly, it's very hard to believe that Lillie has left us. My condolences to all the family. x

Although it’s been some years since I last saw you, I’d like to give thanks for all your encouragement of our creative endeavours when we were teenagers. I remember very well you joking that it was “one way to keep us off the streets” but it’s was incredibly supportive and kind. Thank you Mrs Ransted, you are very much missed.
