AnnPURCELLOn 22 May 2025, with loving family by her side, our mum Ann, aged 86 years gained her wings. Having fought a courageous battle against vascular dementia for almost 4 years, whilst in the fantastic, dedicated and loving care of Ladysmith Care Home, she decided enough was enough and passed away peacefully in her sleep.
Ann was a loving Mum to Lesley and Graham; Mum-in-law to Mike and Gail; Nanna to Kelly, Kirsty, Shaun, Kimberley, Dara and Ricky; Nanna Ann to Paige, Dacey, Axel, Raew, Roman, Oakley, Sophia, Khelby and baby Bump; Step-grandmother, Step-great-grandmother, Sister, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Cousin and a good friend to many.
A celebration of Ann’s life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 27 June 2025 at 11:15am. Please wear bright casual clothing.
Family flowers only please by request but donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Embrace Critically Ill Infants and Children Ambulance Transport Service, in memory of Ann’s great grandson Roman or RNIB Talking Books Service. A collection box will be available on the day.
Ann’s favourite flowers were carnations so if you would like to either wear or bring a single carnation that would be appreciated by the family.
