Ronald StuartPHILLIPSRonald Stuart Phillips passed away on August 25th 2025 aged 81 after losing his battle with MND.
He was a lecturer at Huddersfield Technical College for many years and in later years taught creative writing via Adult Education classes. He was a much-loved husband to Lesley, father to his four children - Anne, Michael, Ellen and Catherine and his two stepchildren - Simon and Benjamin, as well as his grandchild, Daniel.
A very big thank you to those who helped him remain at home until the end, as per his wishes - Passion Home Care, the palliative team at Kirkwood Hospice, Dr Luk at Crosland Moor Surgery, as well as the therapists and Nurses at Locala, Carers Trust support and Befrienders from the St Vincent De Paul Society.
He will be buried at Rosehill Cemetery on Tuesday September 16th at 11.15 am where we will celebrate his life.
No flowers please but donations to MND Association/Kirkwood Hospice.
