ArthurPETTIFORDIt is with great sadness to announce that Arthur, aged 81 years passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on 24th January 2025 whilst in the care of Diana Princess of Wales Hospital.

A much loved husband to Pat, a loving dad to Gary, Joanne, Kevin and the late Debbie, a dear father-in-law to Sarah, Attie, Julie and Kenny. A treasured grandad to Kayleigh, Aaron, Matt, Shane, Adele, Jack, Joe, Lily and the late Lauren, a cherished great-grandad to Ruben, Bobbie, Imogen, Piper, Willow, Hallie, Betsy, Daegan, Rowen, Rayanna, Esmee, Erin, Everly, Alex, Johnny, Rio, Frankie and Natalie. Arthur was also a dear brother, uncle, a good friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of Arthur's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 20th February at 12 o'clock.

Grandad we will miss u and allways love u lots when I was growing u learnt me how to driver at about 11 years old coz u allways got me fixing ur cars and washing them on a weekend then i moved Opposite you add Johnny (grandson) and you come over everyday just to give I'm some changes out ur pocket and to see I'm we will all miss u so much broken all are hearts u leaving use but will never leave are hearts and memories we have with you love Jack Charlotte Johnny rio xx💔💔😢

Grandad where do I start, You was an absolute legend and a loving man. Thank you for being there for me when I needed you and putting a smile on my face through the years😊❤️, I will cherish all the memories we had together and the laughs we had round the fishing ponds, Going to miss you so much and I will love you always💔💔, R.I.P BIG G❤️

I came into your family not knowing what I'd find, I was nervous & afraid but you gently eased my mind. You made me feel right at home from the first day we met, you welcomed me with open arm's, & that I won't forget.
Having you as my Father in-law was a joy you were thoughtful, caring, kind & dear. I'm grateful for all you've done, I thank you for all the beautiful & lovely memories I have to keep.
Little we knew that morning that he would call your name.
In life we loved you dearly In death we will do the same.
It broke 💔 our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone for part of us went with you. Your love will be our guide & knowing you will always be by our side. Knowing you are now at peace reunited with loved one's. Until we meet again Dave (Dad)

Missing you loads already. You was taken so suddenly from us.
My heart is broken 💔
