Kathleen JuliaPARKESKath very sadly passed away on Thursday 7th November 2019 from pneumonia, very shortly after she had received a terminal cancer diagnosis, leaving behind her husband, Bill, and daughter, Lynne, who were both devastated at her loss. Donations can still be made in Kath's memory to Great Ormond Street Hospital: www.justgiving.com/fundraising/kath-parkes The hospital was a cause very close to Kath’s heart, after Lynne had use of the hospitals services as a child, and Kath continued to support them with donations regularly for many years.  May she rest in peace.

Darling Mum, thinking of you on the sixth anniversary of your passing, and it still doesn't get any easier, it gets harder still.

I miss you more than I can say, and I really hope that you and Dad are reunited and are happy together again.

Darling Mum,

Thinking of you today and lighting a candle for you on what would have been your 88th birthday. Every year you're gone still seems to get harder, but I try and take comfort in knowing that you and Dad are together.
