Hazel was very special to us all at Croydon University Hospital gynaecology and since she left us is hugely missed, but she always would find time for an update as to how we all were and would offer words of encouragement or comfort.

We will all miss Hazel so much. She worked as my NHS secretary from 1990 for 20+ years, and was an enormous help to me, constantly pointing me in the right direction. We also had a lot of laughs, constantly teasing each other. She was a friendly voice on the phone for my patients. For the couples going through fertility treatment, she shared in their excitement when there was a positive pregnancy test. RIP Hazel, and thanks for everything

My much loved friend Hazel. No more suffering. I will miss you and our children too Natalie, Elliot and Stefan. We were on our way to see you when you passed. It is hard to think after 50 years of friendship and keeping each other going during our cancer battles there will be no more chats. RIP Hazel.
