When I first joined the chorus, Pete immediately reached out, overriding the organised 'buddy' system with a warm handshake and 'I'll be your buddy'. He stepped off the risers to to talk to me every week that followed - his warmth and good humour were essential boosts to my confidence, and the welcome I felt.

To a wonderful man a friend of many years and fantastic bass to our chorus Grand Central Chorus. So funny and witty with a real zest for life both Shelagh and I will miss his dry sense of humour. Thank you for being a man amongst men. Lots of love to You and Josie. Mark and Shelagh

Dearest Josie, Helen, Mark, Natalie and Hannah. sending much love to you all. We were privileged to have met Peter in Abu Dhabi on a visit to the Wheatley family with Josie. Our favorite memory of Peter was on a desert trip with us....he was a brilliant supervisor giving Mark instructions how to drive in the sand.... calling Mark a daft bu##er for getting himself stuck. Such a lovely gentleman with a great sense of humor. You are all in our thoughts.
