Barry JohnMEAKINBarry passed away at The Laurels Nursing Home, Spondon on Tuesday 7th January 2025, aged 84 years. A devoted husband of Carol, Loving father to Steven and Mandy, dear grandfather to Harry, Sally, Esther and Dougie. Father-in-law to Amber and Mark. Many thanks to Michelle, Sheila and all the team at The Laurels, for their loving care of Barry. A funeral service for Barry will be held on Friday 7th February at Trent Valley Crematorium, Aston on Trent, at 3.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations may be given at the service, in lieu of flowers, to support Parkinsons UK. All enquiries to: Central Coop funeral, 113 Victoria Avenue, Borrowash, Derby. DE72 3HF. Tel: 01332 661595

Hi Carol, just found out from Mick Carey of Baz passing away. So sorry to find out, I be tried for some time to try and locate you both but with ICL closing down no progress. Take care , must be close on 60 years since we last saw each other.
