AlanMARSHAlan passed away suddenly at home on Monday 20th January 2025.

Beloved husband and soulmate to the late Tina, devoted Dad to Lesley and David, Father-in-law to Andy and the late Paul and much loved Grandad to Jade, Mason and Amy.

A funeral service for Alan will be held at Trent Valley Crematorium on Wednesday 19th February at 1.30 pm.

Donations in lieu of flowers will be collected for Alzheimer's Research UK.

Due to Alan's passion of Aston Villa, please feel free to wear the colours claret and blue (no football tops though please).

You were taken so suddenly from us that I didn't get the chance to be with you and hold your hand to say goodbye. My heart is broken but I take comfort knowing you are now reunited with mom. All my love, Lesley ❤️

Grandad, my heart aches knowing you’re no longer here, but I take comfort in knowing you’re at peace, reunited with Grandma—your soulmate. You were the kindest, most loving man, and I feel so lucky to have had you in my life. Your wisdom, warmth, and laughter will stay with me always. Thank you for the love, the stories, and the endless memories. I’ll cherish them forever. Sleep peacefully, Grandad. You are so loved and missed 🕊🤍
