It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Ernest Manners on Wednesday 29th January 2025, aged 85 years.
Beloved husband to Rita, cherished father to Helen and Robert, devoted grandfather to Georgia and brother to Pat.
Bob was a man of strength, wisdom, wit, and kindness, whose generosity of spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. Throughout his life, he showed unwavering love and loyalty to his family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Funeral service to be held at St. Werburgh's Church, Spondon on Thursday 27th February 2025 at 11:30am followed by burial at Spondon Cemetery. Following the service a celebration of Bob's life will take place at The Liberal Club, Moor Street, Spondon.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to all those who have offered their support during this difficult time.

Sad to hear about Bob, kind thoughts to his Family & close friends. Such a nice interesting & very popular chap to talk to over a pint. Will be missed.
