We joined you as liveries, our friendship was clear,
Davide and Elliott were soon drinking beer.
Feno and I, a livery's plight,
Shared stables, laughter, morning, and night.
For nineteen years, our glasses raised,
We toasted our friendship, memories praised.
Newmarket nights, we laughed with a tear,
Getting drunk, falling in bushes, without a fear.
The four of us, good times we would share,
whatever the weather, we just didn’t care
Barbecues in the barn or by the beach,
Davide's Cheeseburgers, always within reach
For the last 6 years we shared your routine,
when Little Dave turned up on the scene.
I’ll miss every morning seeing you wave,
and of course, your voice when you said “Oh Dave!!!”
Daily chaos is what he caused,
but soon settled happily in retirement at yours.
For your kindness, a debt we can't repay,
For welcoming us to your stable each day.
There were Camp Mancuso’s, with our horsey friends,
They were always a giggle from start to end.
Jumping or pole work was on the agenda,
More memories made for us to remember.
We’d hack to the pub on many occasion,
with Delilah spooking, needing persuasion.
Badminton, Blenheim Burghley we attended them all,
drinking fizz, eating donuts, we had a ball.
In the feed room, where fizz once flowed,
Lisa by my side, our laughter glowed.
These treasured memories, in my heart will remain.
Reunited with Flynn, in heavenly plains.
Our final memory, we face without you,
A void in our lives, forever true.
We are gathered here to pay tribute to you,
And will remember always, the good times we knew.
Lisa…
Thank you for the life we shared.
The new friends made
Your Love for everything Pink
And so much more!
I have been beyond lucky to know you.
You were more than a friend.
Until we meet again,
Good Night.
Sam and Elliott
